Contura 620 Style is equipped with heat retaining Powerstone and convection damper as standard. If you choose the cover instead of the warming shelf above the door there is also space for even more Powerstone. This means that you get even more heat out of your logs because the heat is retained in the stone. The model has a cast iron door. Optional lower compartment cover.

Contura 886G Style Wood Burning Stove
A pedestal stove makes the fire more visible in your interior. With the 886G you also have the benefit of generous side panes, which almost make the fire look like it is floating in thin air. Combined with a turntable (optional) you can swivel the stove so that you can always see the fire from anywhere in the room. Our pedestal model in white is a great innovation.

Contura i4 Modern, frame with three sides
Contura wanted to preserve the feel of the old house we bought, but not live in a museum. Saving the old woodwork was obvious, but we wanted to give the old coal-burning stove a modern and discrete style. It should be obvious that it is modern and has efficient technology! The large glass door lets the beautiful fire really come into its own. The heat output actually surprised us, and it’s a bonus that it can be fired in such an environmentally friendly way.

The fireplace insert is designed for installation in Builders Opening or to build a whole new fireplace or place as freestanding. No matter which model you choose, it is your imagination that sets the limits! Contura i4 FS is designed for burning wood or smokeless fuel and it is easy to switch between fuel types. The fireplace insert is available with a heat tank for even more heat retention.

My fire transcends the boundary between tradition and modern design. I really have a passion for our traditions and go mad at flea markets and in antique shops. Why buy new and mass-produced when there are so many beautiful, old things of much better quality? There are limits however, our forefathers were not superior at everything. How lucky then that it is possible to combine good, old tradition with new and better technology, without losing the English classical expression.
